The Purple Store is owned, loved and maintained by Adam Sheridan and Kim Raymoure.
Adam is in the habit of jokingly answering "the cheese store" or "the glasses store" if someone asks him where he got his cheese or glasses. One day, someone asked him where he got a purple shirt, and out of habit, he said, "The Purple Store." And, hearing himself, realized that this was possibly the coolest, most fun idea in the world.
PURPLE FACT:
In ancient times, it took 8,500 shellfish to make a single gram of purple textile dye.
